Diane von Fürstenberg

The Wrap-Dress

Hello Everyone,

Recently, I was browsing the Zalando Editorial and found one very interesting article giving a homage to the so famous “Wrap Dress”, created by Diane von Fürstenberg.

I was delighted reading the post as I think it is one of the best pieces to dress a woman in. We all have different body types and are of various heights. For some reason, the wrap dress simply makes all of us look feminine and fabulous at the same time.

You can find in my closet at least 6 DVF wrap dresses. Of course, I have a classic black one (simply goes all year around for every sort of event) but also some with fun prints and graphics. My favorite dress type is the one that has a knee-length with long sleeves. I find it very flattering to my upper body. I am very tall and have more of a wide shoulder stature and not so big breasts. The dress makes my silhouette a little slimmer while giving me more sexy-curves… and come on… who wouldn’t like that side effect!

Now you might be wondering why I keep talking about this piece of clothing 🙂 Well, there is a simple reason for that! I have noticed on the Zalando website a lot of cute wrap-dresses! I am so delighted that this forgotten piece is back in style. We aren’t all top-models and I believe that we should all feel amazing when we leave our homes to go out, work or meet up for dinner and drinks. Therefore, I wanted to share with you a little more about my favorite piece.

As a blogger, I know how essential it is to look at my best whenever possible. Be it at work or out shooting for my blog – I always need to be ready for an unpredictable event or must travel somewhere unforeseen! Thus, my lovely fellow fashionistas, go check out the new DVF inspired wrap-dresses on Zalando’s website and be inspired for your own. These pieces are easy to style and maintain; Just change from sneakers or sandals into pumps and you are ready to Rock n’ Roll!

Sending you lots of LOVE

Wrap dresses are one of my fav too. I don t have a DVF but I own 3-4 from the LA designer Reformation. They just fit every body type and are so easy to wear and style for any occasion!
