Wishlist Bag!

Hello Everyone,

I have always had a love for red bags, especially by Chanel. Unfortunately I have made the mistake to say “no” to my dream bag twice. Once it was in NYC in the fall of 2009. Instead I bought another bag, also red but a tote instead of a Chanel Jumbo Flap in Red Caviar Leather with Gold Hardware. The next time I passed it was in 2012 with a beautiful burgundy flap lambskin jumbo bag… the reason why was because I thought the leather would be too sensitive…. I wish I hadn’t 🙁

I absolutely love my tote though… Don’t get me wrong 🙂 Back then I had my black lambskin single strap jumbo flap and I thought that if I spend that much money on another bag, it should have a different style…. I mean with just 19 I couldn’t know how obsessed I would get with flap bags and how hard it is to find the right color combination again.. Oh well!

The problem I have since then encountered is that finding the right shade of red is pretty hard! I don’t like the orangish/brown touch that some of the Chanel red colored bags have… I love the red with a blue undertone. I have found that combination in the GST and love it… Now I am just hoping that eventually I will find another red combo I like in the flap bag edition. Little side note, last year I came across a beautiful lambskin chevron red flap with gold matte hardware which I also like and I would also love to consider a burgundy red color… but it has to be with gold hardware.
